Adobe, the world’s leading software company, has unveiled a number of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered photo editing and design tools at its annual Max Creators conference in Tokyo, Japan. The conference, held in Tokyo, Japan, unveiled two AI-powered editing technologies for Lightroom and Adobe Camera, Adaptive Profiles and Distraction Removal.

According to an Adobe press release, this new feature will make the image editing process easier, more automated, and more efficient. This will save users time and improve the quality of editing. Adaptive Profiles can be used for AI-based smart image processing. The feature can automatically adjust the color and tone of an image. Instead of using specific settings like traditional presets and profiles, it will understand the characteristics of each image and automatically make the necessary changes.

Adobe said that this technology will adjust various settings such as exposure, shadows, highlights, color blending and curves of the image in such a way that the image looks more balanced and natural. However, the user’s basic control settings remain unchanged. This feature will be added to Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom Mobile (Android and iOS), Lightroom Web and Adobe Camera in stages.

On the other hand, the Distraction Removal feature can remove unwanted objects and background distractions from photos. According to Adobe, this feature can be used to easily remove unwanted people in photo shoots, people in crowds during travel, or other background clutter. As a result, users can create professional-quality photos without any hassle. This technology has been initially tested in the camera and will soon be added to Lightroom, Adobe said. Last year, the company introduced technology to remove window reflections.

As part of the new update, Lightroom’s Clean Up tool has been added to identify similar images. As a result, the tool will be able to automatically identify similar images. In addition, the facility of direct control of the autofocus mode of the camera connected to Lightroom Classic has been added.

Users can go to the tethered live view mode to change the autofocus and select a specific focus point. In addition, Adobe has unveiled the experimental version of the new 3D design tool Project Neo for graphic designers. Several important updates for Adobe Illustrator, including workflow and performance improvements, faster appropriate font detection and improvements to Japanese typography, were also announced at this year’s MAX conference.
