However, when you click on the link in the e-mail, another website modeled after Google’s official website opens. Once you enter the Gmail account password, the hackers take full control of the account.

Cyber ​​security firm Malwarebytes said that hackers are currently using cutting-edge AI technology at low cost. Through AI technology, hackers are easily collecting recovery codes as well as passwords of Gmail accounts by fooling users. In such cyber attacks, bank accounts, social media, cloud storage and other important service accounts linked to Gmail accounts also come under the control of hackers.

Cyber ​​security experts have advised Gmail users to be vigilant to stay safe online. According to them, they should refrain from clicking on links in e-mails or SMS messages sent by unknown individuals or organizations and should not download any files.
