Bajaj Auto has quietly expanded the colour palette of its long-running Pulsar 150, introducing a new dual-tone Black Gold finish across all three variants of the motorcycle. The update comes a few months after the modelâs December 2025 refresh, and without any accompanying mechanical or structural changes.

The Pulsar 150, which continues to hold steady demand in the commuter-sport segment, is now offered in five colour options. The latest addition builds on the existing dual-tone theme, pairing a black base with gold highlights across key visual elements. These include the headlamp cowl, fuel tank extensions, tail section, wheel rims and engine cowl, giving the motorcycle a slightly more premium appearance without altering its familiar silhouette.
This colour scheme has already been seen on other models in the Pulsar range, including the smaller Pulsar 125 and the recently updated Pulsar 180. Its introduction on the 150 appears to be part of a broader effort to standardise visual upgrades across the lineup.
The current Pulsar 150 range remains unchanged in terms of pricing and structure. It is sold in three trimsâSD, SD UG and TD UGâpriced between Rs 1.09 lakh and Rs 1.15 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The update does not bring any revision to these figures, which had already seen a modest increase of around Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 over the previous version.
Last yearâs refresh focused largely on features. The motorcycle now comes with an all-LED lighting setup, including the headlamp, indicators and tail-lamp, while retaining the design language that has defined the Pulsar series for years. Its upright stance and muscular tank remain intact, elements that continue to appeal to a wide base of riders.
The hardware setup also carries forward without change. Telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers handle suspension duties, while braking is managed by a front disc and rear drum in most variants, with the top-spec TD UG offering discs at both ends. Single-channel ABS is standard across the range.
On the features front, the bike includes 17-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, offering mobile notifications through the Ride Connect app.
Powering the Pulsar 150 is the same 149.5cc single-cylinder, twin-spark engine. It produces 13.8 bhp and 13.4 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. There are no changes to performance or tuning with this update.

For now, the Black Gold finish serves as a visual refresh rather than a functional upgrade, extending the lifecycle of a model that continues to rely on its established identity in a competitive segment.
