This activity was concentrated in the eastern county areas, including Fullerton, Rosedale, Essex, and Middle River.

Authorities documented two separate First-Degree Assaults involving a weapon within a three-day period. The report also details a string of burglaries, with one location being targeted twice in just four days.

String of Burglaries Hits Eastern County Neighborhoods

The Fullerton area was notably impacted by property crime. According to the police blotter, the same location on the 7500 Block of Belair Rd was burglarized twice. The first incident occurred on October 3 around 10 p.m. An unknown suspect committed a second-degree burglary before fleeing the scene.

Just four days later, on October 7, the same location was hit again. This time, a suspect burglarized the property and stole items in the early morning. Police confirmed an arrest was made in connection with this second incident. A separate first-degree burglary was also reported in Rosedale on October 3.

Violent Assaults Add to Public Safety Concerns

The crime spike was not limited to property offenses. The police data highlighted two serious violent crimes. The first assault occurred on September 30 in the Unit Block of Landmark Ct in Essex. An unknown suspect assaulted a victim with a weapon.

A second, similar incident was reported just two days later in Middle River. On October 2, a suspect assaulted another victim with a weapon on the Unit Block of Kingston Rd. The suspect fled the scene in both assault cases. These back-to-back violent events have heightened community concerns about public safety.

The recent Baltimore County crime spike underscores ongoing challenges for local law enforcement. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to authorities immediately as investigations continue.
