Bangladesh confirms second coronavirus death

ZOOMBANGLA DESK: Bangladesh on Saturday reported the second death from coronavirus that also infected four more people, raising the total corona cases to 24, UNB reports.

Another person died from coronavirus in the country, announced  Health Minister Zahed Maleque at a press briefing after an inter-ministerial meeting at Directorate General of Health Services(DGHS).

Bangladesh reported the country’s first death from coronavirus on March 18.

On March 8, the IEDCR announced for the first time the detection of three Covid-19 patients in Bangladesh.

The first three Bangladeshis infected with coronavirus were recovered.
