About the Henley Passport Index
The Henley Passport Index ranks passports based on the number of destinations accessible without a prior visa, including visa-free, visa-on-arrival, and electronic travel authorisation (eTA). Compiled using data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), it is widely regarded as the most authoritative measure of global passport strength.
The bangladesh passport ranking 2026 shows a gradual improvement in Bangladesh’s global mobility standing, moving up five places while remaining among the lower-ranked passports worldwide. The latest index highlights both regional contrasts and long-term trends for Bangladesh’s passport strength.
