Regé-Jean Page is ready to be the object of everyone’s desires once again. After all, the Bridgerton alum has traded his place in London’s high society for Los Angeles’ elites in the upcoming erotic drama Hancock Park.Regé-Jean—who is also executive producing the Netflix series through his company A Misty Stranger—stars as a wealthy L.A. resident whose family is struggling to maintain their social status.
“Hancock Park is an erotic thriller that follows a dangerously charismatic outsider, who invades the lives of a seemingly picture-perfect Los Angeles family,” Netflix’s Tudum teased Dec. 2, “when he rents their backyard guest house.”
As the outsider goes beyond their world’s shiny exterior, however, he begins to see cracks in the facade. And now, the streaming service revealed, “he exposes the desire, deceit, and obsession that lurks around every corner of one of LA’s most-coveted neighborhoods.”
Regé-Jean’s return to Netflix comes after starring in 2022’s The Gray Man alongside Ryan Gosling, as well as taking on the role of Simon Bassett in Bridgerton‘s debut season.

Although the 37-year-old’s character found his happy ending with Phoebe Dynevor‘s Daphne Bridgerton, he didn’t return for the following seasons like his onscreen wife. But that doesn’t mean there was any drama behind the move.
“‘It’s a one-season arc. It’s going to have a beginning, middle, end—give us a year,'” he recalled of his conversation with Shondaland producers to Variety in 2021. “[I thought] ‘That’s interesting,’ because then it felt like a limited series. I get to come in, I get to contribute my bit and then the Bridgerton family rolls on.”
While he’s happy with the Duke of Hastings’ conclusion, he continues looking forward to seeing each Bridgerton sibling have their fairytale moment.
“I have nothing but excitement for Bridgerton continuing to steam train off and conquer the globe,” he added. “But there is also value in completing these arcs and sticking the landing.”And after the Black Bag actor bid farewell to the ton, he expressed his gratitude for the experience.
Netflix prepares big surprises with new stories and specials
“The ride of a lifetime,” he shared on Instagram in 2021. “It’s been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be your Duke. Joining this family—not just on screen, but off screen too. Our incredibly creative and generous cast, crew, outstanding fans—it’s all been beyond anything I could have imagined. The love is real and will just keep growing.”As fans await Regé-Jean’s return to the small screen, keep reading for more upcoming TV show premieres.
