After nearly three weeks of an unusually strong theatrical run, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is beginning to show signs of fatigue at the box office, even as it continues to hold its ground among the biggest releases in recent years.

The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and led by Ranveer Singh, recorded Rs 10.10 crore on its third Tuesday, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. The figure marks a modest recovery from Mondayâs Rs 10 crore, which had been its lowest single-day collection so far.
Its domestic performance remains formidable. The filmâs India gross now stands at Rs 1,237.21 crore, with net collections crossing Rs 1,033.37 crore. Overseas markets contributed another Rs 4 crore on Day 20, pushing the international tally to Rs 404 crore. The worldwide gross has reached Rs 1,641.21 crore.
Occupancy levels on Tuesday reflected a typical weekday pattern. Morning shows opened at 9.85 percent, improving through the afternoon to 16.08 percent. Evening and night screenings saw a slight dip, settling at 15.69 percent and 15.23 percent respectively, resulting in an overall occupancy of 14.21 percent.
Despite the recent slowdown, the film has already secured its place among the highest-grossing films of all time. It currently ranks fourth, trailing behind Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2, and Dangal, which continue to hold the top positions globally.
Away from box office numbers, the franchise has also found recognition on the awards circuit. The first installment, Dhurandhar, won 14 awards at the Chetak Screen Awards. Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar were among the major winners, while Akshaye Khanna received the Best Supporting Actor award.
The sequel features a large ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and others, contributing to its scale as an action spy thriller.

With its current trajectory, the filmâs pace has clearly moderated compared to its early surge. Even so, its sustained presence near the top tier of global earners suggests that its theatrical run, while slowing, remains significant in both domestic and international markets.
