The first signs of audience response to Dhurandhar: The Revenge are beginning to emerge through its premier advance booking numbers, and the data points to a film that is drawing notable attention ahead of release. Early ticket sales across India indicate steady momentum, particularly in major urban centers where occupancy levels are climbing as showtimes approach.
According to the available booking figures for premiere shows, the film has sold more than 760,000 tickets nationwide so far across over eleven thousand scheduled screenings. The combined advance gross from these bookings stands at around 34.87 crore without blocked seats, while the figure rises to approximately 39.8 crore when block seats are included.
Most of the bookings have come from the Hindi version of the film, which dominates both the show count and ticket sales. The Hindi 2D format alone accounts for the overwhelming majority of the advance revenue, with more than 677,000 tickets sold across over ten thousand shows.
Regional language versions are also contributing to the overall advance numbers, though at a smaller scale. Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam screenings together account for several thousand additional tickets sold, reflecting some reach beyond the core Hindi market.
In terms of state-wise performance, Maharashtra currently leads the advance booking charts, followed closely by Delhi and Karnataka. These regions show some of the strongest occupancy levels among large markets, supported by a high number of scheduled screenings.
Cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad appear particularly active in early ticket sales. Bengaluru has recorded one of the highest real occupancy levels among major cities, while Mumbai and the National Capital Region have also generated substantial advance revenue.
Some southern markets have shown pockets of strong demand as well. Chennai, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam have reported healthy occupancy percentages in several show clusters, suggesting that the film is attracting attention beyond its primary Hindi audience.
Despite the encouraging early numbers, many markets still show moderate occupancy levels, indicating that a large portion of ticket sales may still come closer to showtime. This pattern is common for large commercial releases, where last-minute bookings often account for a significant share of final attendance.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar: The Revenge features a large ensemble cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and Yami Gautam.
For now, the advance booking data suggests a solid opening base for the filmâs premiere shows. The real test will come once the film reaches theaters and audience turnout across multiple regions begins to shape its early box office trajectory.
