ZOOMBANGLA DESK: Professor Dr. Mamun Al Mahtab, chairman of Hepatology Department at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, has been selected as Executive Committee member of Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) for the term 2021-2022.
APASL, apex body of Hepatologists of the Asia Pacific region, confirmed this through an email sent to him on February 9.
Dr. Mamun Al Mahtab in a facebook status this afternoon termed his EC membership of APASL as the recognition of the advances in Hepatology in Bangladesh and Bangladesh’s contribution to the advancement of Hepatology.
