Infinix GT 50 Pro Leak Points To Bigger Battery And Dimensity Upgrade

Early details about the next gaming-centric handset from Infinix have surfaced online, even though the company itself has not announced anything publicly. A set of alleged renders and specifications circulating this week suggest the Infinix GT 50 Pro is already in development as a follow-up to last year’s model.

The material was shared by Passionategeekz.com in collaboration with tipster Sanju Choudhary. The images show a black handset accented by green LED lighting along the lower rear section. The panel carries a carbon-fibre-like texture, and the camera module sits in the upper-left corner.

According to the leak, the phone will retain the gaming-oriented design direction rather than moving toward a conventional look. That visual continuity mirrors the positioning of the previous GT-series device, which leaned heavily on styling cues associated with gaming hardware.

The display is said to measure 6.78 inches, using a flat AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The report also claims the device will move to a newer processor from MediaTek, specifically the Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM. Storage options may include 256GB and 512GB variants.

Camera hardware appears largely practical rather than experimental. The rear setup is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation and 0.8µm pixel size, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and another 8-megapixel auxiliary sensor. A 13-megapixel front camera is expected for selfies and video calls.

Battery capacity could see one of the biggest jumps. The leak points to a 6,500mAh unit supporting 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. Reverse charging is also mentioned, with 10W wired and 5W wireless output.

Software details in the report mention Android 16 and unspecified AI features, though no demonstration or explanation has appeared so far.

Last year’s GT 30 Pro carried a 144Hz AMOLED panel and a Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chip, along with shoulder triggers and a 5,500mAh battery. The rumoured specifications suggest a straightforward generational update rather than a redesign, focusing mainly on battery endurance and processor performance.
