STAFF CORRESPONDENT : International Leadership Program on Education- 5. 0 ( National round) was held at United International University in the capital on Friday.
The daylong competition organised by GEIST International Foundation featuring Olympiad, poster presentation, art of creativity , grammar Relay Race and poetry recitation.
Around 600 students of grade- 3- 12 from different educational institutes of some 28 districts across the country joined the event.
Earlier divisional round was held in different districts of the country on February 28. Top ten attendees of four categories took part the National round.
Champion and runners-up participants have been awarded with scholarship to join the International Summit scheduled to be held in Bangkok University on May 1-4 where young learners from 17 different countries are expected to attend.
CEO and President of GEIST International Foundation, Biplob Kumar Dev, handed over crest and certificates among the winners as chief guest. Regional coordinators of the organization were also present in the ceremony.
GEIST International Foundation is one of the largest global professional development platform for teachers and educators dedicated to ensure excellence in teaching learning and leading in transforming ideas and innovative solutions to promote the success of the young learners.
The organization successfully organized seven international educational summit on different global issues including four international since it’s journey in 2017.
A participant Aurora Imnee, who is also ninth grader of Rangpur Govt Girls High School said, `I am very excited to join the national event as it is a great learning opportunity. It will certainly help the young learners to develop their skills, knowledge, ideas, attitude and values.’
