Apple has announced the launch of the new iPhone 16 series model, the iPhone 16e. The design of the new iPhone model, which runs on the powerful A18 processor, is similar to the iPhone 14, but it does not have the ‘Dynamic Island’ and Touch ID interface. However, Face ID has been added. The front camera has been placed in the notch in the model for easy use of Face ID. Depending on the version, the iPhone 16e model has been priced at 599 US dollars.

The 6.6-inch OLED iPhone 16 model is slightly smaller and thinner than other models in the iPhone 16 series. It has customizable action buttons, but does not include the new ‘camera control’ feature. In accordance with European Union regulations, the iPhone 16e has a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port. However, the new model does not have MagSafe technology and fast wireless charging. Therefore, the iPhone 16e model supports 7.5W Qi wireless charging.

The iPhone 16 model has a single 48-megapixel ‘two-in-one camera system’. Although there is no additional camera, the model has wireless charging support and a high water-resistant IP rating. Importantly, the iPhone 16 model uses Apple’s own modem for the first time. Apple had been planning to move away from Qualcomm’s modem for a long time. Finally, that effort was successfully implemented.

According to Apple, at least 8GB of RAM is required to use Apple Intelligence technology. Therefore, it is believed that the iPhone 16th model has at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The iPhone 16th model can be pre-ordered from tomorrow, Friday, and sales will start from February 28.
