The smartphone race in 2026 has increasingly become a contest of endurance and performance, and Vivo’s sub-brand appears determined to push both fronts at once. The iQOO Z11 Turbo quietly entered the market on January 15, bringing an unusually large battery and flagship-level hardware into a device positioned far below typical premium pricing.
At first glance, the phone does not attempt to reinvent the visual language of modern smartphones. Its body remains slim for a device carrying such a large power cell, measuring just 7.9mm thick in one variant and slightly thicker in another. The weight sits between 202g and 206g depending on the finish, which includes either glass or fiber-reinforced plastic on the back with an aluminum alloy frame.
The design is sealed against the elements as well. The device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, meaning it is built to resist dust and can survive both immersion in water and exposure to high-pressure water jets.
Inside, the hardware tells a more ambitious story.
Display, Performance and Battery Form the Core of the Device
The front of the iQOO Z11 Turbo is dominated by a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. It delivers a resolution of 1260 by 2750 pixels and supports a 144Hz refresh rate, allowing smoother animation during gaming and scrolling.
Brightness is another headline figure. The panel is rated at a peak of 5500 nits and supports HDR along with a 4320Hz PWM dimming system designed to reduce flicker under low brightness.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process. The processor uses an octa-core architecture with two high-performance Oryon V3 Phoenix L cores running at 3.8 GHz and six efficiency-focused Phoenix M cores clocked at 3.32 GHz.
Graphics duties fall to the Adreno 829 GPU.
The phone ships with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB up to 1TB using UFS 4.1 technology. There is no support for memory cards.
Camera hardware centers around a 200-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization. A secondary 8-megapixel ultrawide camera sits beside it, supported by features including HDR, panorama, and a color spectrum sensor.
Video recording reaches 4K resolution, while the front camera carries a 32-megapixel sensor capable of both 4K and 1080p recording.
Battery capacity is where the Z11 Turbo stands apart from many rivals. The device carries a large 7600mAh silicon-carbon lithium battery, paired with 100W wired fast charging and support for reverse wired charging.
The rest of the hardware includes stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4 with multiple high-quality audio codecs, NFC, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded under the display.
The phone runs Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 interface.
The iQOO Z11 Turbo is available in White, Black, Blue, and Pink. The model number listed for the device is V2536A.
Pricing places the handset at roughly 300 euros, positioning it aggressively in the upper mid-range segment while carrying specifications often associated with more expensive flagship devices.
With its combination of a very large battery, high-resolution camera, and the latest Snapdragon platform, the Z11 Turbo appears designed to appeal to users who prioritize endurance and performance in equal measure. Whether that balance resonates with buyers will become clearer as the device reaches more markets in the months ahead.
