Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Akshay Kumar’s Film Storms Past Rs 30 Crore in Just 3 Days

The much-awaited historical drama Kesari Chapter 2 starring Akshay Kumar is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. Within just three days of its release, the film has crossed the impressive milestone of Rs 30 crore, thanks to a powerful narrative, positive reviews, and strong word-of-mouth buzz.

Directed by debutant Karan Singh Tyagi and jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films, the movie dives deep into the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre through the eyes of lawyer C. Sankaran Nair. Akshay Kumar’s compelling performance, alongside Ananya Panday and R. Madhavan, has struck a chord with audiences across India.

According to a Sacnilk report, Kesari Chapter 2 collected Rs 7.75 crore on its opening day, Rs 9.75 crore on Day 2, and surged to Rs 12.64 crore on Day 3 — bringing the total to a whopping Rs 30.21 crore. The film’s strong performance on Sunday clearly shows it has gained momentum.

While the movie is seeing high occupancy rates in South Indian regions like Chennai (56%) and Bengaluru (43.25%), it is slightly lagging in Delhi NCR (29.25%) and Pune (27.75%). Nevertheless, the emotional depth, historical relevance, and Akshay’s star power are helping the film draw large crowds.

The narrative has received special praise for its realistic depiction of colonial brutality and emotional storytelling. Viewers and critics alike are lauding the way the film has portrayed the resistance and resilience of that time period, making it one of Akshay Kumar’s most talked-about performances in recent years.

As the film enters the crucial weekdays, trade analysts believe Kesari Chapter 2 has the potential to continue its dream run and possibly enter the Rs 50 crore club by the end of the week.
