Climate Resilience Fellowship

Programme Offers Blended Training and Practical Tools

The fellowship is a one-year professional development course. It combines an 18-week online training course with a five-day residential in Fiji. Participants will also complete a five-month applied learning project in their workplace.

The curriculum covers climate literacy and inter-sectoral collaboration. It also includes modules on influencing policy and accessing climate finance. Fellows will acquire practical tools for immediate use in their roles.

Eligibility Targets Mid-Career Professionals on Climate Frontlines

The programme seeks mid-career professionals with 5 to 15 years of experience. Applicants must work in roles directly related to climate adaptation practice. They must be citizens of, or have refugee status in, an eligible Commonwealth Small Island Developing State.

Eligible countries span the Caribbean, Pacific, Africa, and Asia. This includes nations like Fiji, Jamaica, Seychelles, and the Maldives. All applicants must be employed and have a contract lasting until at least February 2027.
