The price of KTMâs 390 range in India has moved up again, this time by a margin that is difficult for buyers to ignore. Both the 390 Duke and the 390 Adventure X have received fresh revisions, with the latest adjustments pushing them well beyond their earlier positioning.

The KTM 390 Adventure X is now listed at Rs 3.43 lakh, ex-showroom in Delhi. That represents a Rs 17,000 jump from its previous price of Rs 3.26 lakh. The increase becomes more pronounced when viewed over time. The motorcycle entered the market at Rs 2.91 lakh and, through a series of updates and revisions, steadily climbed past the Rs 3 lakh mark before reaching its current level.
Part of that earlier rise came alongside feature additions. More recently, pricing has been influenced by changes in the tax structure, which pushed the bike to Rs 3.26 lakh before this latest correction. Taken together, the Adventure X now costs roughly Rs 52,000 more than it did at launch. In practical terms, the on-road price in several cities is now approaching, or in some cases exceeding, Rs 4 lakh.
The KTM 390 Duke has seen an even sharper adjustment in one step. It now carries an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.39 lakh, up from Rs 2.99 lakh. That Rs 40,000 increase comes after a period during which the manufacturer had absorbed additional tax costs rather than passing them directly to buyers.
That approach appears to have changed. Motorcycles above 350 cc fall into a higher GST bracket, and the earlier effort to cushion customers from that impact has now been rolled back. The result is a direct price correction across the affected models.
The revised pricing also alters the internal spacing within the lineup. The gap between the 390 Duke and its smaller sibling has widened noticeably, while leaving room for motorcycles positioned below the 350 cc threshold. Those models, expected to benefit from a lower tax rate, are likely to sit at a more accessible price point when they arrive.

For now, the immediate effect is clear on showroom floors. Buyers considering the 390 range are being asked to pay significantly more than they would have just months ago, reflecting a shift in how these motorcycles are being priced in response to taxation and product planning.
