The Manchester and Paris-based group is moving to the Sacred Bones label for this release. This is the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut, ‘I’ve Seen a Way’.

    The Raw Emotion Behind “Magazine”

Vocalist Valentine Caulfield shared a deeply personal statement about the single. She described “Magazine” as an expression of frustration and violence felt after being raped. The track is her primal, screaming call for retribution against her attacker.

Caulfield explained that her therapist encouraged channeling anger into something productive. She stated she will never get justice, and her attacker will never be punished. The song is the only way she can say, “you hurt me, so I’m going to hurt you.”

    Album Features and Tour Schedule

The album ‘Urgh’ will feature ten new tracks. It includes a collaboration with acclaimed rapper billy woods on a song titled “Sicko!”. Guitarist Scott Fair produced the record, with mixing handled by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band.

The band has scheduled a series of European tour dates for March and April 2026. The tour includes stops in London, Paris, Berlin, and a performance at Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands. Tickets are now available through major vendors.

The upcoming Mandy, Indiana ‘Urgh’ album represents a bold new chapter for the experimental band. Their powerful new single sets a defiant tone for the 2026 release. This new work promises to be one of the most anticipated art-punk records of the year.
