Luke Biagini from Celina powered his team forward. The senior running back rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Alvarado.
Gunter’s sophomore quarterback, Knox Gage, was flawless. He completed all ten of his pass attempts for 120 yards and three scores. His precision helped secure a dominant quarterfinal victory.
Mason Landers of Grandview delivered a five-touchdown masterpiece. The junior quarterback threw for 198 yards and three scores. He also ran for 117 yards and two more touchdowns.
The Defensive Standouts and Championship Game Heroes
Defensive plays were equally critical in Week 14. Brock senior Colt Matlock, a UTEP signee, made two key interceptions. His efforts stifled the opponent’s offense and fueled his team’s win.
In a TAPPS state championship game, Hudson Reasor shined for Fort Worth All Saints. The senior receiver caught six passes for 66 yards. Three of those catches resulted in touchdowns.
Dallas South Oak Cliff linebacker Jamari Stewart anchored a shutout win. The senior recorded twelve tackles and a sack. His relentless defense propelled his team into the next round.
