Nothing Phone 4b to Launch in India on July 7 With Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and New Horizontal Glyph Bar

By Sazzad HossainJune 29, 20263 Mins Read

Nothing has confirmed July 7 as the launch date for the Phone (4b) in India, introducing the company’s first b-series device at an expected starting price of around ₹25,000.

The 4b sits below the Phone (4a) series in Nothing’s lineup. It’s the company’s attempt to push its design identity into a lower price bracket, bringing the transparent-back aesthetic and Glyph interface to buyers who couldn’t stretch to the (4a)’s asking price.

Specs Confirmed Through Geekbench and Official Teasers

The Phone (4b) will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and Android 16 out of the box. A Geekbench listing for the device surfaced ahead of the launch, showing single-core scores of 1,088 and multi-core scores of 3,155. The display is a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Battery capacity is 5,400mAh.

Camera hardware looks minimal by 2026 mid-range standards. The rear setup centers on a 50MP primary sensor as part of a dual-camera configuration. Storage options are expected to be 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, with three color variants at launch.

The Glyph Gets a Redesign

One of the more visible changes is how Nothing has handled the Glyph interface. The multi-segment vertical Glyph panels from earlier phones are gone. In their place is a single horizontal Glyph Bar positioned just below the camera module — a design that first appeared on the Phone (3a) series. Nothing has released a sketch video teasing the change. The transparent rear panel stays.

The Glyph Bar lights up for notifications, calls, and app alerts. Fewer segments mean simpler visual patterns, which suits a device aimed at users new to the Nothing ecosystem.

Flipkart Confirms the Sales Channel

Nothing has put up a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, locking in the e-commerce platform as the primary Indian sales channel. The launch event starts at 3:30 PM IST on July 7. Pricing will be officially revealed then, though leaks point to a range between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000 for the base model.

If the price holds near that lower end, the (4b) would compete directly with the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and the iQOO Z9x — phones that currently dominate the segment in India.

The July 7 launch event starts at 3:30 PM IST, and Nothing will confirm pricing then.

FYI (keeping you in the loop)

What is the expected price of Nothing Phone 4b in India?

Based on leaks, the Phone (4b) is expected to start between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000. Nothing will confirm the official price at the July 7 launch event at 3:30 PM IST on Flipkart.
