INTERNATIONAL DESK: A large of number people took out a procession and staged a demonstration in Pakistan’s Jacobabad on Thursday, demanding recovery of a 13-year-old boy who was abducted two months ago in a locality of the city, Ramzanpur.
The protesters, mostly including members of Rahoja community and their sympathisers, held placards inscribed with slogans against police as they marched through the city to local press club where they staged a demonstration against the area police, accusing them of ‘utter failure’ to take any action against suspected kidnappers, Manzoor Ahmed and Malhar Chohan.
Taking to media persons, Rahoja Ittehad president Ameer Bakhsh, Ali Nawaz, Zulifqar Ali Rahoja and others said that 13-year-old Tufail Rahoja went missing almost two months ago and now the suspected kidnappers were demanding ransom for his release. (Dawn)
