Peloton has officially entered a new phase in connected fitness with the launch of Peloton IQ — an AI-powered personal training system — and a completely redesigned product portfolio called the Peloton Cross Training Series. The announcement came on October 1, 2025, signaling a bold step toward total wellness and deeper personalization for members worldwide.
The company says this marks a “relaunch” of its hardware and software experience. CEO Peter Stern described the move as doubling the value of Peloton’s equipment and setting a new benchmark for intelligent coaching and immersive fitness content.
Peloton IQ: Smarter, Personalized Training
Peloton IQ is a next-generation AI and computer vision system that delivers dynamic coaching tailored to each user’s goals, history, and real-time performance. Available immediately on all connected Peloton equipment — both new and existing models via software update — it aims to simplify training decisions and maximize results.
The technology tracks form, counts reps, and suggests weights through a built-in movement-tracking camera on premium devices. Members receive adaptive weekly plans, workout recommendations, and progress reports based on their workout history and wearable data from Apple Health, Garmin, and Fitbit. Performance estimates also help users choose classes with clear goals, such as “harder than your usual” or “ideal for endurance.”
Nick Caldwell, Peloton’s Chief Product Officer, said the system gives members guidance that “combines a deep understanding of your workout history and wearable data with real-time form feedback.”
New Cross Training Series: Complete Fitness in One Machine
Alongside Peloton IQ, the company introduced its most advanced hardware lineup ever — the Peloton Cross Training Series. It includes five connected devices: the Cross Training Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, and Row+.
Each machine features a new swivel screen, faster processors, improved WiFi and Bluetooth, and enhanced audio systems tuned by Sonos. The premium “plus” line adds hands-free voice control (“Ok Peloton”), an integrated fan, rep-tracking cameras, and a new comfort-focused saddle for bikes.
Members can seamlessly switch between cardio, strength, yoga, pilates, and more from a single piece of equipment. The update reflects Peloton’s push to provide an all-in-one training hub for total-body fitness.
Expanding Wellness and Community Features
Peloton is also expanding its wellness offerings. Partnerships with the Hospital for Special Surgery will bring injury-prevention and recovery programming, while Halle Berry’s Respin Health will co-create a program for perimenopause and menopause support. The company has also acquired Breathwrk, a leading breathwork app, to integrate stress and sleep-focused training.
Community-driven features are growing with new official teams inside the Peloton App, such as Move for Life and Menopause Health. Club Peloton, a recognition and rewards program, is also rolling out to encourage consistency and variety in workouts.
To support these expanded features, Peloton will raise membership pricing starting in October. The All-Access plan will move from $44 to $49.99, while App+ will increase to $28.99.
Peloton IQ and the Cross Training Series represent the company’s biggest evolution since its early days, combining AI technology, premium design, and deeper wellness integration to meet the modern fitness lifestyle.
