Porsche has revealed the new 2026 911 Turbo S. The car made its debut ahead of the IAA Mobility Show in Munich. It is the first Turbo S to use a hybrid system. The coupe and cabriolet models will join Porsche’s 2026 lineup. Prices start at $272,650 for the coupe.
This update marks a major change for Porsche’s range-topper. The car combines classic design with new hybrid technology. According to Reuters, the 911 Turbo S is the most powerful road-going 911 ever built.
2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S Performance and Specs
The Turbo S uses a 3.6-liter flat-six with hybrid “T-Hybrid” tech. It pairs with a 1.9-kWh battery and electric motor. Together they produce 701 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. That is 61 hp more than the last Turbo S and 167 hp more than the hybrid Carrera GTS.
Power goes to all four wheels through an eight-speed PDK gearbox. The car sprints from 0–60 mph in 2.4 seconds. That is 0.2 seconds quicker than before. On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, it set a lap time of 7:03.92. That is 14 seconds faster than the old model.
The Turbo S also gains new chassis tech. It includes Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a titanium exhaust. These upgrades improve both speed and handling.
Design, Features, and Pricing
The 2026 911 Turbo S keeps the same body shape as before. The aero kit now has more active parts. Turbonite accents appear inside and outside. Wheels use a new center lock design. The cabin comes with two seats but rear seats are free to add.
The coupe starts at $272,650. The cabriolet starts at $286,650. Both are around $30,000–$40,000 more than the last versions. Porsche says the new model blends performance with daily use.
The new 911 Turbo S is faster, more powerful, and hybrid for the first time. Porsche has kept its style but added new tech. It is the strongest 911 yet.
