BSS, DHAKA: President M Abdul Hamid today congratulated the Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket Team for winning the ICC Under-19 World Cup trophy, beating mighty India by three wickets at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom, South Africa.
In a felicitation message, President Hamid greeted the country’s young Tigers, their coach and officials of the Bangladesh U-19 team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for clinching the world cup trophy.
“The young tigers will bring more glory for our country in the days to come,” the head of the state hoped.
The President added that the winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team would help contribute positively to the country’s overall development and progress in the coming days.
