ZOOMBANGLA DESK: A Qatari delegation led by Deputy Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Major General Abdul Rahman Nasr Abdullah Al-Nasr, paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed at the Army Headquarters in Dhaka Cantonment on Sunday.
The other member of the delegation team was Director of Qatar Military Decorations and Medals Directorate Brigadier General Abdul Aziz Ghanem Al Qubaisi, according to the ISPR.
During the courtesy call, they emphasized on the areas of mutual development between the armed forces of the two brotherly countries.
It is known that during their stay in Bangladesh until September 22, the Qatar delegation team will visit various military clothing manufacturing establishments run by the Army Welfare Organization (Sena Kallyan Sangstha) and discuss the feasibility of importing such clothing from Bangladesh.
The visit of the Qatar delegation team is expected to play an important role in the development of mutual relations between the two countries.
