The redmi a7 pro has been launched as a new budget smartphone from Xiaomi in select global markets. The handset brings a 120Hz display, a large 6,000mAh battery, and runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3. It is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset and offers up to 128GB of storage. The device also includes AI features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search, alongside a dual rear camera setup. The company has not yet confirmed its availability in India.

The redmi a7 pro is available in two storage variants. The 4GB + 64GB model is priced at EUR 129.99 (roughly Rs. 14,100), while the 4GB + 128GB variant costs EUR 149.99 (roughly Rs. 16,300). It is offered in Black, Mist Blue, Palm Green, and Sunset Orange colour options.

The redmi a7 pro features a 6.9-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits peak brightness. The display supports DC dimming, TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certifications, and Wet Touch technology for improved usability in damp conditions.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and includes AI-powered features like Google Gemini and Circle to Search.

For optics, the redmi a7 pro is equipped with a 13-megapixel main rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, along with a secondary sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The device houses a 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio. For security, the handset comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 8.15mm and weighs 208g.
