He said that there is another aspect of human rights violation which is “transformation of secular Baloch society into religious fundamentalist society”.
Dashti added, “Thousands of religious schools are sponsored by the Pakistani military where children are taught a very medieval version of the religion and trained to become jihadis or convert humanity to Islam.”
He continued to say that there is another aspect to human rights violations, which is “resource exploitation”. Dashti highlighted that Balochistan is one of the richest regions and Pakistan and China are cooperating, extracting gold, uranium, gas, oil etc.
Dashti said that another aspect of human rights violations is “cultural genocide where foreign languages have been imposed in Balochistan”. In all practical purposes, the Baloch with their religious, fundamentalist and human rights violations and genocide are going under the shadow of the Pakistani Army. acts, he said.
“The time has come for the international community to raise their voice against these brutal military machines in the region,” Dashti said. (ANI)
