The Galaxy S26 series could bring camera, software, and performance improvements. The lineup was rumored to have three models: Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, in the end, Samsung reportedly decided to launch the base, Plus, and Ultra models. The design of the Galaxy S26 has now leaked.

Galaxy S26 could have a 6.9mm thin body and Qi2 wireless charging
Tipster @UniverseIce has shared an image allegedly depicting the diagram of the base Galaxy S26. This usually reliable tipster claims the upcoming high-end phone is a mere 6.9mm thick, making it 0.3mm thinner than the base Galaxy S25. The image also reveals a triple-camera layout housed within a vertical pill-shaped housing, which is similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
The company’s earlier phones (like the Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 7) only have a Qi2 Ready certification, which means they don’t have built-in magnets and require a Qi2 case to support Qi2 wireless charging.
What else to expect from the Galaxy S26?
The Galaxy S26 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with 3,000 nits peak brightness, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader, a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera.
Samsung could equip the Galaxy S26 with the 2nm Exynos 2600 processor (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in some countries), 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB storage. It will run Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box with several new features and UI changes.
It could have GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. It will also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It could be powered by a 4,300mAh battery, 25W charging, and 15W wireless charging.
