Science Journalism Fellowship Opens for Applications

The Open Notebook is now accepting applications for its 2026 Early-Career Fellowship. The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2025. This program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring science journalists.

Science Journalism Fellowship

Selected fellows receive a stipend and work closely with a mentor. The part-time, remote fellowship lasts for one full year.

Fellows will plan and write articles for publication on The Open Notebook’s platform. They join a supportive editorial team. This includes regular meetings with an experienced mentor.
