SI Zia of Khilkhet Police Station Named Best SI in Gulshan Division, Also Recognized as Best Vehicle Recovery Officer

Jahid Ikbal : Sub-Inspector (SI) Zia of Khilkhet Police Station has been selected as the “Best SI” and “Best Vehicle Recovery Officer” of the Gulshan Division for February 2026, based on a performance evaluation conducted by the police authorities.

According to police sources, the recognition was awarded in consideration of his professional efficiency, proactive role in crime prevention, and remarkable success in recovering stolen vehicles.

Sources further said that police personnel from different police stations under the Gulshan Division are evaluated every month based on several indicators, including operational activities, crime control efforts, progress in investigations, public safety initiatives, and success in recovering stolen vehicles. Based on these criteria, SI Zia of Khilkhet Police Station stood out and was selected as the Best SI of the Gulshan Division for February 2026. In addition, he was also honored as the Best Vehicle Recovery Officer for his significant contribution to recovering stolen vehicles.

Reacting to the achievement, SI Zia said, “This recognition is not just my personal achievement; it is the result of the collective efforts of my colleagues. I sincerely express my gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner of Gulshan Division, Mr. M. Tanvir Ahmed, and the Officer-in-Charge of Khilkhet Police Station, Mohammad Abdul Alim, as well as all my colleagues for their continuous guidance and encouragement.”

He added that he would continue to carry out his duties with the highest level of dedication and professionalism to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.

Police officials believe that such recognition for officers working at the field level inspires them to perform their duties with greater motivation and contributes positively to crime prevention and public safety.
