The Hindi social drama The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond continues to hold its place in theatres nearly three weeks after its release, with the film crossing another milestone on its nineteenth day at the box office.
According to the latest official figures available early Tuesday, the film has collected a total net of ₹48.86 crore in India so far. Its overall gross earnings have reached ₹57.00 crore. The numbers reflect ticket sales across 53,487 shows since the film opened in cinemas on February 27, 2026.
The performance suggests that the film has managed to sustain audience attention beyond its initial weekend. While daily earnings have slowed compared with the first week, the third weekend brought a noticeable bump in theatre occupancy.
On its opening day, the film began with ₹0.80 crore in net collections from more than 2,400 shows. The following weekend delivered the first major boost, with collections rising to ₹4.75 crore on Saturday and ₹4.80 crore on Sunday.
The first seven days concluded with a total of ₹23.28 crore. The film’s early performance relied heavily on weekend attendance, with weekday figures settling at a lower but consistent level.
Third Weekend Push Keeps The Kerala Story 2 Moving
The second week added another ₹17.12 crore to the tally. Although weekday numbers dropped compared with the opening stretch, theatre owners continued screening the film across multiple regions.
By the start of the third week, the pace slowed further. Day 15 recorded ₹1.50 crore, followed by ₹2.75 crore on Saturday and ₹3.15 crore on Sunday. The stronger weekend occupancy suggested that interest remained intact among segments of the audience.
Day 18, which fell on a Monday, saw collections settle at ₹1.06 crore from 2,399 shows. Occupancy that day remained under ten percent.
Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the film features Sumit Gahlawat, Arjan Singh Aujla, Aishwarya Ojha, Ulka Gupta, and Aditi Bhatia in key roles. The story follows three young women across different Indian states whose search for love eventually leads them into situations marked by manipulation and control.
As the film enters its third week in theatres, its total collections now stand close to the ₹50 crore mark in net earnings. Whether it can maintain momentum in the coming days will depend largely on weekday footfall and theatre retention across regions.
For now, the numbers indicate that The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond continues to draw viewers even after its opening surge has passed.
