Bethesda Game Studios has officially announced the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, arriving on November 10, 2025, just in time for the game’s 10th anniversary. The update was unveiled during Bethesda’s annual Fallout Day Broadcast, alongside several other franchise-related announcements that thrilled long-time fans.
The special edition brings back the iconic post-apocalyptic RPG with modern updates and a massive bundle of content. The release also marks a celebration ahead of the anticipated Fallout TV series, making this one of Bethesda’s biggest moments since Fallout 76’s launch.
What’s Included in Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition
The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition includes over 150 pieces of Creation Club content and all six official DLC expansions. Players will also gain access to “Creations,” a platform that allows console and PC users to discover even more user-generated mods directly integrated into the game. Bethesda confirmed that the edition will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC.
Those who already own Fallout 4 can purchase the Anniversary Upgrade, giving them access to all the bundled content. Subscribers of Game Pass and PlayStation Plus will also receive access to the new DLC and Creations system, ensuring the game remains relevant for a new generation of players.
Interestingly, Bethesda also confirmed that Fallout 4 will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, bringing the franchise to handheld players for the first time.
Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 76 Updates
As part of the same broadcast, Bethesda announced that Fallout: New Vegas will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a special PC-exclusive bundle. The limited package includes a digital copy of the game’s Ultimate Edition and collectible items like an 8-inch Victor statue, Vault Boy pin, NCR Recon patch, and more. Preorders opened on October 23 through the Bethesda Gear Store.
Meanwhile, Fallout 76 will finally move to current-gen consoles in early 2026, with ports coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The upcoming “Burning Springs” update, set for December 2, will also introduce a new questline featuring Walton Goggins reprising his role as “The Ghoul” from the Fallout TV series. Players will have the option to take on bounty hunting missions inspired by the show.
Mobile Expansion and Real-World Celebration
Bethesda’s mobile title Fallout Shelter is also evolving. It will soon introduce “Seasons,” a feature offering limited-time vaults, challenges, and unique rewards. Each season will have its own theme, giving players fresh content to explore beyond their main vaults.
To top off the celebration, Fallout fans in Texas will be treated to the second annual Fallout Night hosted by the Texas Stars hockey team on October 25 at the H-E-B Center. The event will feature themed food, merchandise, and cosplayers in classic Vault-Tec gear.
With the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition’s release set for November 10, Bethesda is giving fans plenty to look forward to as the franchise enters a new era of gaming and entertainment.
