Vivo has released a new set of camera samples from its upcoming flagship, the Vivo X300 Ultra, offering an early look at how the companyâs latest imaging hardware performs in everyday shooting conditions. The images, shared on the Chinese social platform Weibo, were posted by vivo executive Han Bo Xiao, who provided a brief explanation of the hardware behind the shots.

The photographs include examples taken with the phoneâs primary camera as well as its periscope telephoto system. A few of the images were also captured using teleconverter options that extend the focal length to 200mm and 400mm, suggesting the company is emphasizing long-range photography as a key feature of the device.
According to the information accompanying the samples, the main camera uses a 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 sensor. The photos were taken at a 35mm focal length in daylight conditions. Xiao noted that the sensor is designed to capture up to 30 percent more light compared with the previous generation, though the company has not detailed how that figure was measured.
The images show a mix of outdoor scenes, giving an early indication of how the primary sensor handles brightness and detail in natural light. While the company has not released full technical explanations of the processing pipeline, the samples appear intended to highlight clarity and dynamic range in standard shooting scenarios.
Alongside the main camera results, vivo also shared photographs taken with the phoneâs periscope telephoto camera. This module uses Samsungâs HP0 200-megapixel sensor and supports extended focal lengths through dedicated teleconverter modes. The company included examples shot at 200mm and 400mm, demonstrating how the device handles distant subjects.
The telephoto samples focus largely on subjects photographed from a distance, showing how the camera resolves detail when zooming beyond typical smartphone ranges. Vivo has not yet released additional information about stabilization or software processing involved in these modes.
Beyond the primary and telephoto cameras, the device is expected to include a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera built around Sonyâs LYT-818 sensor. Vivo describes the ultrawide unit as having a large 1/1.28-inch sensor size, which is notable for that category of lens. Reports circulating ahead of the launch have also mentioned the possibility of a 5-megapixel multispectral camera, though the company has not confirmed that component.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to be introduced in China on March 30, according to recent leaks referenced alongside the camera samples. Vivo has also indicated that the device will reach international markets after its initial launch.
For now, the companyâs early image releases offer a narrow but deliberate preview of the phoneâs camera system, suggesting that photography will again sit at the center of its flagship strategy.
As the launch date approaches, more details about the deviceâs full specifications are likely to surface. For the moment, the samples provide the clearest official glimpse yet of how the X300 Ultraâs camera hardware is shaping up.
