Week 12 NFL Injury Report: Rodgers, Burrow and Key Final Updates

Week 12 NFL injury report headlines are all about quarterback health. Aaron Rodgers and Joe Burrow are both officially listed as questionable going into Sunday. Final game designations also lock in major absences at wide receiver, offensive line, and in multiple secondaries across the league.

The latest information comes from official team injury reports released on Friday and compiled by CBS Sports and other national outlets. These reports shape depth charts, game plans, and in some cases playoff hopes. Statuses can still change close to kickoff, but this is the clearest picture yet of who is in and who is out for Week 12.

Week 12 NFL injury report: Rodgers and Burrow headline long list

Aaron Rodgers remains at the center of Week 12 storylines. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is listed as questionable with a fracture in his left, non-throwing wrist after exiting last week’s win over Cincinnati and then returning to finish the game. He sat out Wednesday’s practice, then logged limited work on Thursday and Friday and has said he wants to play against Chicago.

Head coach Mike Tomlin has acknowledged the fracture but has kept the door open for Rodgers to start, stressing that the final decision will hinge on comfort, safety, and functionality after the week of work. The matchup also carries emotional weight for Rodgers, who dominated the Bears for years with Green Bay and now faces them as Pittsburgh’s starter. Even if he is active, protection and play-calling could be adjusted to limit hits on his injured wrist.

Joe Burrow’s status is just as closely watched. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback has missed two months after turf toe surgery on his left foot, an injury suffered in Week 2 against Jacksonville. He returned to full 11-on-11 work on Wednesday and Thursday before being limited on Friday and carries a questionable tag for the home game against New England.

Team officials had originally circled a Thanksgiving matchup against Baltimore as a possible return date. Now, his practice workload suggests he is at least ahead of that initial schedule, though the Bengals have not committed to activating him. If he is not moved to the 53-man roster by roster deadline, veteran Joe Flacco would remain the likely starter while Burrow continues to rehab.

Beyond those two stars, Week 12 shows how fragile depth charts can be in late November. Several contenders will be without starting tackles, featured receivers, or key defensive backs. Others enter Sunday surprisingly healthy, with the Las Vegas Raiders listing no players with an official game status.

NFL injury update

Team-by-team Week 12 NFL injury breakdown

Colts at Chiefs. Indianapolis ruled out linebacker Jaylon Carlies (ankle) despite his full participation in practice. Defensive end Tyquan Lewis (groin) and cornerback Charvarius Ward (concussion) are both questionable after progressing to full work late in the week.

Kansas City will play without starting running back Isiah Pacheco (knee), who was ruled out even though he practiced. Rookie wideout Xavier Worthy (ankle) and tackle Kingsley Suamataia (concussion) are questionable after moving from no work to limited, then to full participation by Friday.

Vikings at Packers. Minnesota’s report is short but meaningful. Edge rusher Jonathan Greenard (shoulder) is questionable after returning in a limited capacity, and center Ryan Kelly (concussion) is also questionable but practiced fully all week.

Green Bay ruled out wide receiver Jayden Reed (foot/shoulder) and cornerback Nate Hobbs (knee). Defensive tackle Karl Brooks (ankle), receivers Savion Williams (foot), Dontayvion Wicks (calf), and Matthew Golden (shoulder/wrist), plus edge rusher Lukas Van Ness (foot) and running back Josh Jacobs (knee) are all questionable after limited work throughout the week.

Jets at Ravens. New York lists four defenders as questionable: edge rusher Will McDonald IV (quad), defensive lineman Harrison Phillips (foot), running back and returner Kene Nwangwu (hamstring), and linebacker Marcelino McCrary-Ball (hamstring). McDonald and Phillips both returned to practice late in the week, which gives the Jets some optimism up front.

Baltimore’s report is cleaner but still notable. Wide receiver Rashod Bateman (ankle) and cornerback Keyon Martin (rib) are both ruled out after failing to practice. That leaves the Ravens thinner at receiver and on the back end heading into Sunday.

Patriots at Bengals. New England ruled out only linebacker Jahlani Tavai, who is away from the team for non-injury reasons. Edge rusher Harold Landry (knee) and running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) are both questionable after ramping up from limited to full participation; Stevenson has not played since Week 8.

Cincinnati’s biggest question is Burrow at quarterback. On defense, the Bengals ruled out edge rushers Trey Hendrickson (hip/pelvis) and Cameron Sample (oblique), plus cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (foot). Running back Samaje Perine (ankle) and safety Daijahn Anthony (hamstring) are doubtful, so the Bengals could be thin at depth spots even if their starter under center is cleared.

Giants at Lions. New York will be without several starters. Cornerback Paulson Adebo (knee), tight end Thomas Fidone II (foot), edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder), and quarterback Jaxson Dart (concussion) are all ruled out after missing the full practice week. Cornerback Deonte Banks (hip), safety Tyler Nubin (neck), and running back Eric Gray (knee) are questionable with varying degrees of participation.

Detroit’s defense and offensive line have been hit hard. The Lions ruled out corner Terrion Arnold (concussion), safety Kerby Joseph (knee), edge rusher Marcus Davenport (shoulder), guard Miles Frazier (knee), and defensive end Josh Paschal (back). Tackles Taylor Decker (shoulder/rest) and Penei Sewell (ankle), corners D.J. Reed (hamstring) and Khalil Dorsey (wrist), center Graham Glasgow (knee), guard Tate Ratledge (knee), wideout Isaac TeSlaa (oblique), and running back Sione Vaki (ankle) are all questionable.

Steelers at Bears. Pittsburgh’s quarterback situation centers on Rodgers’ wrist, but there are other concerns. Linebacker Alex Highsmith (pectoral) is doubtful after limited work late in the week. Cornerback Darius Slay (concussion/rest), defensive tackle Cameron Heyward (rest/ankle), and running back Jaylen Warren (ankle) are all questionable as they work back from issues.

Chicago ruled out five players: linebackers T.J. Edwards (hand/hamstring), Tremaine Edmunds (groin), and Noah Sewell (elbow), plus running backs Travis Homer (hamstring/knee) and Roschon Johnson (thumb). Safety Jaquan Brisker (shoulder), corners Kyler Gordon (calf) and Jaylon Johnson (groin), and tackle Theo Benedet (quad) are all questionable as the Bears prepare for a physical game.

Seahawks at Titans. Seattle will not have wide receiver Tory Horton (shin) or linebacker Tyrice Knight (concussion), with both ruled out after missing the entire week. Linebacker Ernest Jones (knee), running back Robbie Ouzts (elbow/personal), running back Kenneth Walker III (glute), and guard Grey Zabel (knee) are questionable, though head coach Mike Macdonald has said he expects Walker to be available.

Tennessee ruled out safety Xavier Woods (hamstring) and wideout Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) after both sat out all week. Corner Darrell Baker Jr. (knee), lineman Corey Levin (neck), and running back Kalel Mullings (ankle) are questionable, leaving the Titans with some uncertainty in the secondary and backfield.

Jaguars at Cardinals. Jacksonville’s offense and defense take multiple hits. Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle), tight end Hunter Long (hip/knee), offensive lineman Anton Harrison (knee/ankle), edge rusher Travon Walker (knee), and linebacker Yasir Abdullah (finger) are all ruled out. Tight end Brenton Strange (hip), cornerback Jarrian Jones (quad), and cornerback Jourdan Lewis (neck) are questionable after limited practice work.

Arizona ruled out wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (illness) and running back Emari Demercado (ankle), as head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed during the week. Linebacker Baron Browning (concussion), safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (ankle), and running back Trey Benson (knee) are also out. Offensive linemen Kelvin Beachum (groin), Will Hernandez (knee), and Hayden Conner (knee), plus cornerbacks Will Johnson (back/hip) and Garrett Williams (ankle) and defensive lineman Darius Robinson (groin), are all questionable.

Browns at Raiders. Cleveland will be without edge rusher Alex Wright (quad) and wide receiver Jamari Thrash (foot) after both missed every practice. Right tackle Jack Conklin (knee) is questionable but did manage limited work all week.

Las Vegas stands out as one of the healthiest teams of the weekend. The Raiders did not list a single player with a game status on the final report. That gives them rare late-season continuity across the roster.

Falcons at Saints. Atlanta ruled out wide receiver Drake London (knee), corner Billy Bowman Jr. (Achilles), linebacker Josh Woods (hamstring), and defensive lineman Zach Harrison (knee). Guard Chris Lindstrom (foot), edge rusher Leonard Floyd (hamstring), lineman Matthew Bergeron (ankle), and linebacker Malik Verdon (shoulder) are questionable, creating uncertainty up front on both sides of the ball.

New Orleans ruled out wide receiver Brandin Cooks (personal) after his release earlier in the week. Tackle Taliese Fuaga (ankle), running back Alvin Kamara (ankle), and tackle Barry Wesley (hip) are all questionable after logging limited practices. Kamara’s status is especially important for the Saints’ offensive identity.

Eagles at Cowboys. Philadelphia will be without All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson (foot), a major loss after he failed to practice all week. Center Cam Jurgens (concussion), interior lineman Willie Lampkin (knee/ankle), and tackle Myles Hinton (back) are all questionable, so the Eagles’ offensive line depth could be tested.

Dallas listed only two players on the final report. Edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney (shoulder/neck) is questionable after limited work. Tackle Hakeem Adeniji (illness) is also questionable after being added to the report on Friday.

Buccaneers at Rams. Tampa Bay ruled out running back Bucky Irving (shoulder/foot), edge rusher Haason Reddick (ankle/knee), cornerback Jamel Dean (hip), and defensive back Ben Bredeson (hamstring). Wide receiver Chris Godwin (fibula), edge rusher Markees Watts (hand), and corner Benjamin Morrison (hamstring) are questionable, with Godwin’s practice pattern marking him as a true game-time call.

The Los Angeles Rams have a very short injury list. Wide receiver Xavier Smith (concussion) is the only player listed and is questionable after missing Wednesday and then practicing in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday. That leaves most of their core pieces available.

Panthers at 49ers (Monday). Carolina has a light but important early-week report. Linebackers Christian Rozeboom (hip/hamstring) and Trevin Wallace (shoulder) have missed practice, while cornerback Akayleb Evans (ankle) has been limited. Final statuses will not be set until closer to Monday night.

San Francisco is also relatively healthy but cautious. Linebacker Tatum Bethune (ankle), kicker Eddy Pineiro (hamstring), and edge rusher Robert Beal Jr. (concussion) all missed practice on Friday. Linebacker Luke Gifford (hip/neck) was the only limited participant, and the 49ers will monitor the group over the weekend.

Injuries always shape the story of an NFL season, and Week 12 is no exception. The Week 12 NFL injury report keeps Aaron Rodgers and Joe Burrow in the spotlight, while also confirming significant absences at key positions across the league. Coaches, players, and fans will now watch warm-ups and inactives closely on Sunday and Monday to see which questionable names are finally cleared to play.
