Legendary film director Rob Reiner has died at the age of 78, per a December 14, 2025 TMZ report. The outlet says Reiner and his wife, Michele, were discovered dead in their home with stab wounds. The LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division is currently investigating the case.

The outlet says Marshall previously them in 2012 that she and Reiner grew up across the street from each other in the Bronx, but didn’t know each other at the time. They met when Marshall appeared on “The Odd Couple” in 1971. A few year later, they appeared together in the 1974 episode “The Rain in Spain.”
