Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Energy Saving Pro has been introduced as the companyâs latest smart cooling appliance. The tower-style air conditioner recently appeared on Xiaomiâs Youpin platform with upgraded efficiency, long-distance airflow, and integrated smart home connectivity.
The model arrives in two configurations designed for larger indoor spaces. Xiaomi positions the device as a high-efficiency smart appliance capable of operating across extreme temperatures while maintaining strong energy performance.
A new tower AC focused on airflow power and energy control
The Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Energy Saving Pro uses hardware aimed at improving cooling stability and airflow reach. The internal system combines a dual-row condenser, a large 120mm cross-flow fan blade, and a high-efficiency compressor. Together these components increase the heat-exchange area by roughly ten percent compared with earlier designs.
The airflow system can deliver up to 1760 cubic meters of air per hour. Xiaomi says the tower unit can begin cooling within around 30 seconds, while heating can start in about 160 seconds. The design focuses on distributing air across larger spaces rather than concentrating it in one direction.
A wide 115-degree airflow system helps spread air evenly through rooms. Users can also select different airflow styles depending on the environment. The canopy airflow option directs air upward to avoid direct cooling on occupants, while carpet airflow circulates warmer air across the floor during heating.
Smart home integration and extreme temperature operation
The Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Energy Saving Pro is designed to function in demanding climates. Xiaomi states the unit can provide heating even when outside temperatures drop to minus 35 degrees Celsius. Cooling operation can continue in environments reaching up to 65 degrees Celsius.
The system also includes automatic cleaning functions for both indoor and outdoor units. Dirt detection and filter blockage alerts are built into the monitoring system, helping maintain consistent airflow and internal hygiene over time.
Connectivity plays a central role in the design. The air conditioner works with the Mijia mobile app and supports HyperOS Connect integration with other Xiaomi smart home products. Through the app, users can check operating status, run remote diagnostics, and install system updates through full-link OTA upgrades.
High efficiency ratings and electricity savings
Xiaomi rates the device with a Super Level-1 energy efficiency certification. This exceeds Chinaâs current Level-1 efficiency standard for air conditioners. The companyâs Lingyun energy-saving algorithm adjusts performance based on operating conditions to improve overall energy management.
The 2HP version achieves an Annual Performance Factor rating of 5.20. The larger 3HP model reaches an APF rating of 5.31. According to Xiaomiâs calculations, the improved efficiency could reduce annual electricity costs by as much as 540 yuan under typical usage conditions.
Pricing reflects the two power configurations. The 2HP model is listed at 4,699 yuan, while the 3HP version is priced at 5,499 yuan on the Youpin platform.
The Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Energy Saving Pro reflects the companyâs continued expansion into connected home appliances. With stronger airflow, smart monitoring, and high energy efficiency ratings, the tower AC targets users looking for powerful cooling combined with modern smart-home control.
