অভিনেত্রী জায়রার কোনও খোঁজ নেই, কাশ্মীরে ৩৭০ ধারা বিলোপ নিয়ে ক্ষোভ পরিচালকের

বিনোদন ডেস্ক : জম্মু-কাশ্মীর থেকে বিলোপ করা হয়েছে ৩৭০ ধারা। জম্মু-কাশ্মীর ও লাদাখকে পৃথক কেন্দ্রশাসিত অঞ্চল করার প্রস্তাব দেওয়া হয়েছে। কেন্দ্রের এই সিদ্ধান্তের বিরোধিতা করে সরব হলেন বলিউড পরিচালক সোনালি বোস।

জানা যাচ্ছে, কাশ্মীর থেকে ৩৭০ ধারা বিলোপের পর থেকে অভিনেত্রী জায়রা ওয়াসিমের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করতে পারছেন না সোনালি বোস। এরপরই কাশ্মীর নিয়ে কেন্দ্রের সিদ্ধান্তের বিরোধিতা করতে শুরু করেন বলিউড পরিচালক।

সম্প্রতি নিজের ইনস্টাগ্রাম হ্যান্ডেলে জায়রার সঙ্গে একটি ছবি শেয়ার করেন সোনালি। দীর্ঘ পোস্টে তিনি বলেন, ‘২ সপ্তাহ হয়ে গেল জম্মু ও কাশ্মীরের সঙ্গে সংযোগ বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে গিয়েছে। ভারতের গণতন্ত্র অন্ধকার। কংগ্রেসের সময় থেকে উপত্যকায় মানুষদের অধিকারকে খর্ব করা হয়েছে। আমার কষ্ট হয় ওই মানুষগুলোর জন্য। বাঙালি, মারাঠী, গুজরাতি, তামিল সবার কেমন লাগবে, যদি রাতারাতি আপনাদের রাজ্য ভেঙে কেন্দ্রশাসিত অঞ্চল করে দেওয়া হয়? ৩৭০-কে কিছুক্ষণের জন্য ভুলে গিয়ে সৎ ভাবে এর উত্তর দিন। আমাদের নিজেদের লোকেরাই কীভাবে এই দেশে বাস করছেন, এটা ভেবেই আমার বিস্ময় ও রাগ এখন দুঃখে পরিণত হয়েছে। ওদের অনুভূতির সম্পর্কে আমরা শুধুই ধারণা করতে পারি।’

পরিচালক আরও জানান, জায়রা তাঁর মেয়ের মত। তাঁর সঙ্গে তিনি যোগাযোগ করতে পারছেন না। গত এক বছরে জায়রা ও তাঁর পরিবারের সঙ্গে খুব সুন্দর সময় কাটিয়েছেন বলে জানান সোনালি বোস। এমনকি ৩৭০ ধারা রদের আগের দিনও জম্মুতে জায়রার সঙ্গেই ছিলেন বলে জানান ‘দ্য স্কাই ইস পিঙ্ক’-এর পরিচালক। তাঁর কথায়, ভূস্বর্গে হঠাৎ সেনার সংখ্যা বাড়িয়ে দেওয়ায় জায়রা খুবই চিন্তিত ছিল। তাঁকে তিনিই আশ্বস্ত করেন বলেও জানান সোনালি।

সোনালি বোসের ‘দ্য স্কাই ইজ পিঙ্ক’ ছবিতে অভিনয় করেছেন জায়রা ওয়াসিম। প্রসঙ্গত, সোনালি বোসের এই সিনেমায় অভিনয় দিয়েই বলিউড ছাড়ার কথা ঘোষণা করেন জায়রা।

My heart has always ached for the terrible human rights violations in the Valley – right from the times of the Congress government in the 90’s. The disappearances and killing of innocent youth is not new. Nor is the opening of fire on demonstrations. But this government has crossed every line with it’s draconian measures. I want to ask every Indian – every Bengali, Maharashtrian, Gujarati, Tamilian et al – how would you feel if your State was split overnight and converted into a Union Territory? Leave Article 370 aside for a moment and answer that honestly. For me the shock and anger at this unconstitutional act is laced with sorrow at how our own people must be feeling in this part of our country. Feelings we can only imagine – as there is still a blackout! On a personal level I have never known anyone before in the State. But now I have a child there. Zaira Wasim – the heart and soul of The Sky is Pink. I have known her and her family over one year – spent marvelous times with them in both Srinagar and Jammu. I was with them in Jammu just a day before this happened. Zaira was very worried that something terrible was afoot because of the sudden influx of massive troops. I reassured her not dreaming something so draconian and unprecedented could be carried out. And since then I’m besides myself with worry at not being able to reach her. To give her strength at this difficult time. To wish them Eid Mubarak. I’m sure they couldn’t celebrate it. We parted with the promise to stay in touch every day. Echoing a promise she and her brother make to each other in the film in a brilliantly acted and moving scene. But I can’t reach my baby right now. #NotmyIndia
