TVS Motor Company has rolled out the 2026 iteration of the Apache RTR 160 4V, expanding the line-up while standardising several features that were earlier limited to select variants. The update brings a noticeable shift in how the motorcycle is positioned within its segment, with more premium hardware now included across the range.

At the centre of the update is a revised equipment list. A new Class-D projector headlamp with integrated LED daytime running lights has been introduced, alongside a full LED lighting setup that now includes turn indicators. These changes, while incremental on paper, are expected to influence both visibility and road presence, particularly in urban riding conditions.
The addition of an assist and slipper clutch across all variants marks a functional improvement. It is intended to reduce rider effort in stop-and-go traffic and offer smoother downshifts, something that commuters and occasional highway riders are likely to notice in daily use.
TVS has structured the range into three variants, each differentiated by hardware and electronic features. The entry-level version, equipped with single-channel ABS, continues with telescopic front suspension and a digital LCD display. It is priced at Rs. 1,25,440, ex-showroom Delhi, and is available in two colour options.
Moving up, the mid-spec variant introduces upside-down front forks and dual-channel ABS. Adjustable levers are also part of the package, while the digital LCD console remains unchanged. This version is priced at Rs. 1,30,690 and is offered in three colour finishes.
The top-spec trim builds further on this setup, retaining the upside-down forks but adding traction control and a 5-inch TFT display integrated with TVS SmartXonnect. This system enables turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts, extending the motorcycleâs connectivity features. The variant is priced at Rs. 1,37,440.
Across all versions, the engine remains unchanged, producing 17.3bhp, which TVS continues to position as the highest output in its class. The motorcycle also retains three ride modesâSport, Urban, and Rainâallowing riders to adjust throttle response based on conditions.
Other features such as radial tyres and a hydroformed handlebar have been carried forward, with the latter aimed at improving steering feel and control.
