A new handset believed to be part of OnePlus’s Ace series has surfaced in China’s regulatory filings, adding weight to recent reports of an imminent launch. The device, carrying the model number PMB110, has been approved by the country’s MIIT certification authority, according to a post shared on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station.

While the listing itself does not confirm the marketing name, the device is widely expected to be introduced as the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra when it reaches the Chinese market. The development follows a pattern seen in earlier Ace models, which often appear in certification databases shortly before their official unveiling.
The Ace lineup has remained largely focused on China, with occasional global adaptations. A recent example is the Ace 6T, which was released internationally under a different name. It remains uncertain whether the company intends to follow a similar approach with the Ultra variant.
Early details about the Ace 6 Ultra’s hardware have begun to circulate through leaks, though much of the device remains undisclosed. The phone is expected to feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, placing it in the upper tier of performance-focused smartphones. Another tipster, Bald Panda, has suggested the device will be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset and include an 8,500mAh battery, a capacity notably larger than what is typical in current flagship designs.
The mention of such a battery size, if accurate, would indicate a clear emphasis on endurance. However, no further information has been shared regarding charging capabilities, camera hardware, or software features.
The device is also expected to enter a competitive segment alongside offerings from Redmi. The anticipated Redmi K90 Ultra is said to carry similar core specifications, including the same chipset and display refresh rate. One point of distinction, based on current leaks, may lie in thermal management, with Redmi reportedly exploring a built-in cooling fan.
For now, both devices remain unannounced, and the available information is limited to early-stage disclosures. With the MIIT approval now in place, attention is likely to shift toward official confirmation from OnePlus, particularly as April approaches.
