Early design leaks around Apple’s next Pro iPhones suggest a familiar pattern is set to continue, with small but visible refinements rather than a wholesale redesign. CAD-based renders circulating online point to a device that stays close to its current identity, while quietly adjusting key elements tied to performance and usability.

The most immediate change appears on the front. The Dynamic Island cutout, introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro, is shown to be narrower in width, though slightly taller. It’s a subtle shift, but one that would be hard to miss in everyday use given its central placement on the display. The adjustment is believed to stem from internal rearrangement, possibly moving some Face ID or Touch ID-related components beneath the screen.

If that holds true, it would mark the first notable refinement to the feature since its debut. Apple has so far taken a measured approach to front-facing hardware, prioritising reliability over aggressively hiding sensors, and this move appears consistent with that thinking.

Colour options are also being tested, with Apple reportedly exploring a mix of restrained and more expressive finishes. Other options, including Coffee Brown and Deep Purple, are said to be under consideration during early development stages.

Taken together, the direction appears deliberate. Rather than redefining the device visually, Apple seems to be refining the experience through incremental hardware adjustments.
