INTERNATIONAL DESK: The World Bank on Tuesday revised upwards its GDP growth forecast from 6.5% for India to 6.9% for 2022-23, saying the country was showing higher resilience to global shocks. জুমবাংলা ডেস্ক: বিএনপির সিনিয়র যুগ্ম মহাসচিব রুহুল কবির রিজভীসহ শতাধিক নেতাকর্মীকে আটক করেছে পুলিশ। আজ বুধবার বিকেলে নয়াপল্টনে দলটির কার্যালয় থেকে তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। বুধবার বেলা তিনটার দিকে নয়াপল্টনে বিএনপির নেতা-কর্মীদের সঙ্গে পুলিশের সংঘর্ষ বাঁধে। এ ঘটনায় এখন পর্যন্ত আহত চারজনকে ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। রিজভী দাবি করছেন, বিএনপির শতাধিক নেতাকর্মী গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়েছেন। অনেকেরই পায়ে, হাতে ও বাহুতে গুলি লেগেছে। এর আগে বিএনপির মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর নয়া পল্টনে দলের কেন্দ্রীয় কার্যালয়ে প্রবেশ করেন। বর্তমানে তিনি কার্যালয়ের সামনে বসে আছেন।
