The first three episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity arrive in U.S. theaters from June 25-29 for a limited theatrical premiere engagement, bringing the anime series’ climactic arc to the big screen.
Both subtitled and English-dubbed versions screen nationwide, with each showing running 1 hour 25 minutes. The theatrical release includes behind-the-scenes footage and a conversation between series creator Tite Kubo and directors Tomohisa Taguchi and Hikaru Murata.
The film adapts the Thousand-Year Blood War arc at its most volatile point. The Thirteen Court Guard Squads and surviving Quincies converge on Wahr Welt, the Royal Palace now under Wandenreich control, for a final confrontation with Yhwach.
The fourth and final season of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will debut on Hulu and Disney+ in July 2026, continuing the story after the theatrical premiere.
