Dua Lipa has shared the first official photographs from her wedding to actor Callum Turner in Sicily, revealing a custom Chanel Haute Couture gown that took more than 1,155 hours to create.

The singer, 30, held the celebration at Villa Valguarnera, a historic 18th-century estate near Palermo. The event came weeks after a civil ceremony at a London town hall on May 31. More than 200 guests attended the Sicily gathering, including Charli XCX, Elton John, and Joe Alwyn.

The gown was designed by Matthieu Blazy, Chanel’s creative director, making it the first Haute Couture wedding dress in the house’s history. It featured a backless halter silhouette with 480,000 hand-embroidered beads by Parisian atelier Montex and intricate trompe l’oeil jewel detailing produced by the embroidery house Lesage. A six-metre tulle veil edged with feathers and cut organza appliqués completed the look.

Lipa posted the images to Instagram on June 20. The photographs show the couple toasting with Ruinart champagne, formal posed portraits, and candid moments on the grounds of the estate. Turner, 36, wore a classic dark suit for the occasion.

The couple began dating publicly in 2023 and confirmed their engagement early last year. For an earlier portion of the celebration, Lipa wore a Schiaparelli bridal look, a house that has dressed her for several high-profile events in recent years.

The Taylor Swift wedding speculation earlier this week drew headlines too, but Lipa’s Sicily ceremony arrived with full confirmed details and photographs. Chanel’s Paris atelier handcrafted the gown before it was transported to Sicily specifically for the occasion.
