Fresh details are beginning to surface around Samsung’s next round of wearable devices, offering a closer look at what the company may be preparing behind the scenes following its recent product announcements.

According to a report from SamMobile, the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 is expected to continue with the familiar dual-size approach seen in previous generations. The smartwatch is likely to be offered in 40mm and 44mm variants, a format Samsung has maintained for several years.
The larger 44mm model is said to carry a 435mAh battery. If accurate, that figure would match the rated capacity found in the Galaxy Watch 8’s equivalent version. While the number itself suggests little change on paper, actual battery performance will still depend on factors beyond capacity, including software optimization and any updates tied to the processing platform or display technology.
Details about the smaller 40mm model remain unclear for now, as do specifics surrounding a possible second-generation Galaxy Watch Ultra, which is also expected to arrive later this year.
Alongside the smartwatch, attention is also turning toward Samsung’s first pair of extended reality glasses, currently referred to as Galaxy Glasses. The same report indicates a battery capacity of 245mAh for the device, identified internally by a specific part number. That places it close to the battery size reportedly used in Meta’s second-generation Ray-Ban smart glasses.
This latest figure stands in contrast to earlier reports that suggested a significantly smaller 155mAh battery. The difference has led to suggestions that Samsung could be working on more than one version of the device, though no formal distinction between models has been confirmed.
The gap in battery capacity hints at potential functional differences. One version may include a display component, while another could focus primarily on audio features, reflecting a similar split seen in competing products.
The glasses are expected to run on Google’s Android XR platform and include a 12MP camera capable of capturing video and supporting live feed functions tied to Gemini.
Separately, the same source points to a modest battery increase for Samsung’s next tablet. The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is reported to feature a 10,500mAh battery, up from the 10,090mAh unit used in the previous model.
Samsung has traditionally introduced its smartwatch lineup alongside foldable devices during its Unpacked event in the third quarter. While there is no confirmed timeline for the tablet, it is expected to follow later.

For now, these details remain based on early information and have not been officially confirmed. Even so, they offer a snapshot of Samsung’s current direction, where incremental hardware updates appear to be paired with a broader shift toward new wearable categories.
