Oppo F33 Launch Date Confirmed for India With Dual Models Planned

By Tarek HasanApril 9, 20262 Mins Read

Oppo has set April 15 as the date for unveiling its next F-series lineup in India, bringing an end to weeks of quiet anticipation around the successor to last year’s F31 range. The upcoming release will introduce two devices under the F33 name, including a standard model and a Pro variant, both positioned as updates within the company’s mid-range portfolio.

The confirmation came through an official poster shared by the company on X, where Oppo also offered an early look at the design direction and colour choices. While the visual details remain limited to what is shown in the teaser, the company appears to be continuing its recent focus on slim form factors and a polished finish.

More concrete information has been disclosed for the F33 Pro, which is expected to lead the series. Oppo says the device will carry a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, matched by a 50-megapixel main sensor on the rear alongside a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The company is also highlighting a wider field of view on the front camera, including a 0.6x wide-angle mode, suggesting a tilt toward users who prioritise group shots and video calls.

The Pro model is confirmed to feature a 6.57-inch display and a weight of 194 grams. It will be offered in three colour options, though the company has not yet detailed their exact finishes or names beyond what is shown in the promotional material.

Beyond the official disclosures, some specifications have surfaced through a recent leak, pointing to a Dimensity 6360 Max chipset and a notably large 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. Oppo has not publicly verified these details, and they remain unconfirmed ahead of the launch event.

The F-series has traditionally been a key segment for Oppo in markets like India, where camera performance and design often shape buying decisions. With the F33 lineup, the company appears to be maintaining that balance, at least in its early messaging.

With less than a week to go before the official unveiling, the remaining details, including pricing and availability, are likely to be disclosed at the event itself.
