Samsung is reportedly preparing for a significant product showcase later this summer, with multiple reports pointing to a Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22. The company has not formally confirmed either the date or the products expected to be unveiled, but industry attention has increasingly focused on a slate of foldable devices and wearables that could play a central role in Samsung’s next hardware cycle.

Among the products drawing the most interest is the Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is widely expected to continue Samsung’s steady approach to refining its foldable smartphone lineup. Rather than introducing a major redesign, the device is reported to focus on improvements to portability, durability, and overall user experience.

Reports indicate Samsung may reduce the phone’s thickness and weight while strengthening the hinge and display structure. Attention is also expected to fall on efforts to make the display crease less noticeable, an area that has remained under close scrutiny as foldable technology continues to mature.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is rumored to retain a 7.6-inch inner Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, alongside a 6.3-inch external screen. Support for the S-Pen on the internal display is also expected to continue, reinforcing the device’s positioning as a productivity-focused smartphone. Storage configurations could reportedly reach 1TB, while higher memory options are said to be under consideration.

Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the latest version of its clamshell-style foldable smartphone. While fewer details have emerged about the device, reports suggest it may feature a larger external display and updated internal hardware while maintaining the design language that has defined the series in recent years.

Another device attracting attention ahead of the event is the rumored Galaxy Fold Wide. According to reported specifications, the model could adopt a wider outer display intended to provide a more conventional smartphone experience when closed.

The reported design would also allow for a larger internal display, said to measure around 8 inches. Reports further suggest the device may include an advanced camera system featuring a high-resolution main sensor and a periscope telephoto lens, while Samsung continues to emphasize portability.

Wearable devices are expected to remain an important part of the company’s presentation. The Galaxy Watch 9 lineup is reportedly being prepared with updates centered on battery life, health monitoring capabilities, and notification management. Current reports do not point to a major visual redesign.

Outside the smartphone category, Samsung’s reported work on smart glasses may generate considerable interest. The company is rumored to be developing a wearable device known in reports as Galaxy Glasses in partnership with Gentle Monster.

The glasses are expected to combine artificial intelligence functions, augmented reality features, and smartphone connectivity in a lightweight design. Reported capabilities include live translation support, integrated cameras, and AR-based notifications, although Samsung has not publicly detailed the product.

If the reported lineup reflects Samsung’s plans, the event would underline the company’s continued emphasis on foldable hardware while expanding its presence in AI-connected wearable technology. It would also highlight how foldables have moved closer to the center of Samsung’s broader product strategy.

For now, however, many details remain unconfirmed. Until Samsung formally announces its plans, attention remains focused on whether the next generation of foldable devices can continue narrowing the gap between emerging hardware concepts and everyday consumer use.
