HONOR has officially launched the HONOR Magic V6 in China after first showcasing the device at Mobile World Congress 2026. While the company had previously revealed most specifications, pricing details were kept for the domestic launch. With the announcement now complete, the foldableâs pricing highlights how it compares with rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.

HONOR Magic V6 design and display
The HONOR Magic V6 measures 8.75mm when folded and just 4mm when unfolded, with a total weight of 219g. The device features a 7.95-inch internal display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
On the outside, the phone includes a 6.52-inch cover display that also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 6,000 nits of brightness. Both panels are 10-bit displays and support 4,320Hz PWM dimming.
Battery and charging compared to Galaxy Z Fold 7
Despite its slim profile, the HONOR Magic V6 includes a 6,850mAh battery. The 1TB version pushes capacity further to 7,150mAh. However, the global version will ship with a slightly smaller 6,660mAh battery.
Even with the reduced capacity, the battery is still significantly larger than the 4,400mAh unit found in the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Charging support includes 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.
Performance and camera setup
The HONOR Magic V6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. For photography, the foldable includes a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor, along with a laser autofocus sensor.
Both the inner display and cover display house a 20MP front camera. The phone also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Pricing and availability in China
HONOR has opened pre-orders for the Magic V6 in China, with open sales starting March 13. Pricing is as follows:
- 12GB + 256GB: CNY 8,999 (~$1,302)
- 12GB + 512GB: CNY 9,999 (~$1,447)
- 16GB + 512GB: CNY 10,999 (~$1,592)
- 16GB + 1TB: CNY 11,999 (~$1,737)
For comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is sold in China as the Samsung Galaxy W26, starting at CNY 16,999 ($2,460) for the 16GB + 512GB variant.
HONOR has confirmed that the global release will include at least the 16GB + 512GB version of the Magic V6. However, the device is not expected to launch in the United States, though availability in some global markets is anticipated in the second half of the year.
