The first clear trace of the upcoming Note series refresh from Infinix has surfaced quietly in a benchmark database rather than a teaser poster. A listing on Geekbench identifies a device carrying model number X6877, believed to be the Note 60 Ultra, marking the first time the brand has attached an âUltraâ label to the line.

The entry outlines the basics: 12GB RAM and Android 16 running the companyâs XOS 16 interface. The phone posted 1,609 in single-core and 6,762 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 6, figures that place it in the upper midrange rather than flagship territory.
Power comes from a Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor built by MediaTek. The configuration includes a 3.25GHz prime core, three performance cores at 3GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.10GHz, paired with Mali-G720 MC7 graphics. While newer Dimensity 8450 and 8500 chips have already been introduced, the 8400 remains positioned as a capable everyday performer rather than a top-tier option.
Another database entry from Carlcare previously suggested storage variants of 12GB with either 256GB or 512GB capacity.
Outside benchmarks, the hardware picture is built largely from early specification tips. The Note 60 Ultra is said to carry a 144Hz AMOLED display and a 200-megapixel main camera, backed by a 7,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 30W wireless charging. Two-way satellite communication has also been mentioned, a feature still uncommon beyond premium devices.
The exterior design is reportedly developed in partnership with Pininfarina. Meanwhile, the standard Note 60 and Note 60 Pro are expected to launch with styling inspired by contemporary iPhone-style camera layouts combined with Nothing-like visual elements.
In market terms, the device is likely to sit against popular midrange competitors such as models from Xiaomiâs Redmi line, Realmeâs 16 series and devices from iQOO. Some rivals offer newer chipsets, though battery capacity and charging speeds often carry equal weight in this price band.
The introduction of an Ultra tier also hints at a subtle shift in strategy. No new Zero series models arrived last year, and expanding the Note family upward could consolidate the companyâs portfolio around a single mainstream range.

For now, the benchmark listing offers only a snapshot. Final pricing and confirmed specifications will ultimately shape how the Note 60 Ultra is judged, but the early signs point toward a feature-focused device built around endurance and display rather than raw processing strength.
