A small but unusual motorcycle has quietly entered the Indian two-wheeler space. KNK Karts has introduced its newly developed mini bike, a compact machine built primarily for closed circuits and off-road riding. The model carries a starting price of Rs 50,000 and deliveries are expected to begin in June 2026.
The bike is not intended for public roads. Instead, it has been designed for controlled environments such as private tracks, karting facilities, or recreational off-road use. That focus shapes nearly every aspect of its design.
KNK Karts says the machine was developed locally, built around a custom chassis designed specifically for its small scale and lightweight layout. The result is a motorcycle that weighs roughly 40 kilograms, significantly lighter than even the smallest conventional commuter bikes.
Power comes from a modest 80cc engine producing around 4 horsepower. While the figure may sound limited, the output is considered adequate for a vehicle this light. The engine sends power to the rear wheel through a chain drive paired with a centrifugal clutch.
Riders familiar with small track bikes will recognize the simplicity of the mechanical setup. The centrifugal clutch removes the need for manual clutch operation, making the bike easier to handle, particularly for beginners or younger riders using controlled circuits.
A Compact Track-Focused Design
The mini bikeâs suspension arrangement reflects its specialized purpose. At the front, it uses a single-sided tubular fork with a trailing-link suspension system. The rear features a monoshock setup.
Braking duties are handled by mechanical cable-actuated disc brakes on both wheels. This choice keeps the system straightforward and easy to maintain, which is often a priority for machines used in recreational track environments.
The bikeâs styling remains simple and functional. A single seat sits above a compact frame, while U-shaped handlebars give the rider a slightly upright position suited to low-speed maneuvering.
A small fuel tank sits ahead of the seat, accompanied by raised fenders designed for off-road riding. Oversized off-road tyres further underline the bikeâs intended terrain.
Despite its minimalist build, the mini bike includes a modern touch in the form of an LED headlamp. The lighting element adds visibility during low-light track use while maintaining the stripped-down appearance.
Machines like this typically appeal to enthusiasts looking for entry-level track fun or small training platforms for young riders learning basic riding skills in controlled conditions.
With deliveries scheduled to begin in June 2026, the KNK Karts mini bike enters a niche segment where simplicity, low weight, and ease of riding matter more than outright performance.
For riders seeking a compact track machine rather than a road motorcycle, the model offers a straightforward mechanical package at a relatively accessible price point.
