Lava Bold 2 5G has been launched in India, expanding the company’s affordable 5G smartphone lineup. The device brings a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery to the budget segment.

The smartphone will go on sale in India starting March 19 through Amazon. Lava is positioning the Bold 2 5G as a value-focused device that combines modern hardware with a clean Android experience.

Lava introduces Bold 2 5G with AMOLED display and Dimensity chip

Lava Bold 2 5G features a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which helps deliver smoother scrolling and better visual performance in apps and games.

The phone runs Android 15 out of the box. Lava says the device offers a bloatware-free and ad-free interface, a feature the company has emphasized in several of its recent smartphones.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset. The processor reaches clock speeds of up to 2.6GHz and is designed to deliver balanced performance for everyday tasks and mid-range gaming.

The handset comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. According to the company, the device has crossed the 500,000 mark on the AnTuTu benchmark test, suggesting competitive performance in its category.

In the camera department, Lava Bold 2 5G includes a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony sensor, paired with an additional secondary sensor inside a rectangular camera module.

For selfies and video calls, the phone features an 8-megapixel front camera. It is positioned in a hole-punch cutout at the top of the display.

The smartphone also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Security features include an in-display fingerprint scanner.
